Back in in 1988, my wife Fay and I saw a need for creative, whimsical, hand painted and hand crafted children's furniture in a price range that everyone could afford. From small beginnings in our basement, with only a few tools and a lot of heart, we created the Briar Patch.
Our success was way beyond our expectations! We found ourselves moving into three different and ever-larger facilities over the next three years until finally settling into a large and comfortable complex in Limestone, New York.
Today, Briar Patch counts many of the finest department stores and gift shops nationwide among our clients. Customers such as Neiman-Marcus, Bloomingdales, Ross Simons and Constructive Playthings have been delighting their customers for years with our hand crafted, hand painted furniture.
From the very beginning, our philosophy has been that our furniture would be hand crafted and hand painted one at a time with exacting quality and pride, and with your children's safety always in mind.
